Endless Summer: A Blog Roundup

Driving in Northern British Columbia - Summer Scenery

When it's hot and dry and wildfires are ranging in the West, an escape to a verdant, waterfall-filled land is in order. I found that in northern British Columbia. Traveling the roads of rural Canada like the Yellowhead Highway took us past lakes, rivers and waterfalls. And, on some turns we even encountered bear and moose!

August signals the end of summer. A roundup of travel postings with the theme "Endless Summer" will provide you with great ideas for August and beyond.

Whether it's a water-filled vacation like our road trip through British Columbia or a last stay at the beach, there is so much to do as summer comes to a close.

  2. Yes, thanks for hosting. I traveled in northern BC years ago, and loved it. This summer I was in Vancouver before Nova Scotia, However, spent most of my time at a friend's summer place close to Mt. Baker, which is also a beautiful mountain.

  6. It's interesting to note that summer has just ended in your side of the world. In mine, it's been raining and typhoons have been battering the islands in my country. I'm wishing it's summer here again.

  7. I've only been to a small part of British Columbia, but saw some beautiful sights. Lovely, cool contrast to the extreme heat of some places this summer.
