Well, I missed some of Amazing Race due to being on my own amazing travels doing volunteer work on the Navajo Reservation. After all, voluntourism is more valuable than sitting home watching TV, right?
So tonight I saw the teams fly from Ghana to the Arctic Circle... very amazing. With all that temperature and climate change, I didn't see anyone with even a hint of a cold.
When it comes to the highlights, I have to say I will remember those hard-working sled dogs who give their all whether it's winter or summer. They reminded me of the beautiful sled dogs at Denali Park in Alaska who had a marvelous bond with their mushers.
It was a fairly drama-free race with the losers singing their way happily into the sunset. Shouldn't life be like this?
