Grand Canyon National Park and other National Parks and Monuments Closed

I thought I'd have a look and see what our beautiful Grand Canyon National Park had to say about the shenanigans in Congress. I went to their main page and saw an austere statement

Because of the federal government shutdown, all national parks are closed and National Park Service webpages are not operating. For more information, go to www.doi.gov. 

The page then re-directed to the Department of the Interior where the shutdown was mentioned and a link to President Obama's letter to government employees was placed.
